The Role You’ll Contribute

The role of the Business Operations Specialist is to help improve the operations of the MSO Provider Outreach & Engagement department (Team) so that it communicates effectively with affiliated network and is more effective, efficient, and compliant with laws and industry regulations. The Business Operations Specialist reviews and improves operational processes; creates, analyzes and manipulates large data spreadsheets; and coordinates the execution of notices to providers via eblasts/faxes.

  • Identifies opportunities for interdepartmental process improvement and suggests efficient remedies
  • Analyzes and reports provider activity and deliverables as it pertains to the network’s requirements
  • Creates, updates and maintains the Team’s work instructions; policies and procedures
  • Tracks Team initiative campaigns and all communication sent to providers as assigned to support various AdventHealth affiliated networks
  • Assists with Team routine or ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Assists the Team with researching and resolving claim issues from providers; coordinates with other MSO departments as needed to resolve
  • Monitors, researches and documents provider requests regarding removing member attributions
  • Coordinates the execution eblasts and faxes sent to providers

Minimum Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; or 5 years of related experience
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare strategy, provider network services, strategic planning, or business development
  • Experience in coordinating and managing projects of various sizes and complexity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's in Business or Healthcare Administration
  • 5 years of experience in provider network services, strategic planning, network or business development
