This position pays between $108,000 - $122,000 CAD per anum plus bonus/equity.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager Level II with a strong technical background and UI/UX expertise to lead foundational digital banking features, with a primary focus on core banking system integrations. This role is critical in ensuring that Bankjoy’s digital banking platform integrates seamlessly with various core systems while maintaining an intuitive and high-quality user experience.
This role requires strong communication skills, as you will work closely with clients and Bankjoy's operations team to ensure seamless integrations and smooth product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Core System Integrations & Digital Banking Features
- Lead the development and execution of core banking system integrations, ensuring technical feasibility and a seamless user experience.
- Define API and data mapping strategies to support robust digital banking functionalities.
- Collaborate with core banking providers, ensuring efficient and scalable integrations.
- Work directly with clients, Bankjoy's operations team, and internal stakeholders to understand needs and resolve integration challenges.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients during implementation, ensuring a smooth onboarding and integration experience.
- Partner with financial institutions and vendors to understand needs, limitations, and opportunities for product improvements.
- Partner closely with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for core-integrated features.
- Ensure that user experience remains consistent across various banking platforms and integration points.
- Translate business and user needs into clear, actionable product requirements and technical specifications.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.
- Stay ahead of fintech trends and evolving core banking technologies to drive product innovation.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure the success of integrations and product performance.
- Use data-driven insights to iterate and enhance existing integrations and banking functionalities.
Experience:
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Must have fintech experience, particularly in digital banking, payments, or core banking integrations.
- Payment experience is a plus.
- Prior experience working on APIs, core banking integrations, or financial technology platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of APIs, data mapping, and core banking system integrations.
- Experience working with technical teams on complex integrations and backend workflows.
- Familiarity with digital banking platforms, account management, payments, and financial transactions.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integrations and product success.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful and timely delivery of core banking integrations with high technical quality.
