The OIS Application Support Specialist is responsible for providing the support of Elekta’s Oncology Information Systems (OIS) to the clients who benefit from their use. This position is responsible for inquiry handling via multiple channels.

Preferred Location: Atlanta Hybrid/ Open to Remote Locations

Responsibilities

  • Support customers over the phone, email, and other channels utilizing the tools provided by Elekta.
  • Manage complex customer inquiries which may include answering software questions, troubleshooting errors, identifying and escalating functionality discrepancies, applying updates, etc.
  • Work within the defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.
  • Work on assignments defined by management.
  • Participate in group projects related to company processes.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Elekta products and service policies and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation as described by Elekta policy.
  • Actively promote Elekta's core values.
  • May visit customer sites independently and successfully troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical oncology treatment with Record and Verify EMR experience, customer support or training experience, technical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Radiation Therapy treatment machines, Mosaiq, other Elekta products, Citrix, Windows, and MS SQL is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Salesforce or other CRM is strongly preferred.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish or French) is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required. The ability to type 40+ words per minute is ideal.
  • Must be able to effectively interact with customers and co-workers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to rapidly identify and resolve issues under pressure is essential.
  • Can handle multiple tasks with a clear sense of ownership and priority. Being well-organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated are key.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.

The US base salary range for this position is $80,000-90,000.
