About the Role

Jam Studio is searching for a talented Video Editor to join our production team and help shape high-energy, story-driven content for the SSundee YouTube channel (24+ million subscribers). If you’re passionate about gaming, YouTube, and fast-paced storytelling, this is your chance to work on content that reaches millions.

This is a fully remote, contractor position with an hourly rate of $40-50 CAD, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Transform 40+ minutes of gameplay footage into tight, engaging 20-minute videos that keep viewers hooked.

Enhance storytelling using VFX, SFX, transitions, and dynamic pacing.

Work closely with the team to integrate scripted storylines and optimize for viewer retention.

Collaborate with leadership to refine video quality based on performance data and feedback.

Manage pacing, comedic timing, and SSundee’s unique editing style.

Requirements

Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.

A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills, particularly in fast-paced YouTube/gaming content.

Experience with pacing, storytelling, and audience retention strategies.

Ability to create and integrate VFX, SFX, and seamless transitions.

Deep understanding of YouTube trends, gaming culture, and SSundee’s content style.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining top-quality standards.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working with 2D/3D environments and animations.

Knowledge of YouTube analytics & optimization techniques.

Passion for viral gaming content and understanding of internet culture.
