Opportunity
The Senior Project Leader – Supply Chain will oversee and execute strategic projects within the supply chain domain, focusing on Customer Delivery and Warehousing solutions, and enhancing Sales Enablement program execution. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple projects, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful implementation of new solutions aligned with Kohler Canada’s objectives.

Opportunity
The Senior Project Leader – Supply Chain will oversee and execute strategic projects within the supply chain domain, focusing on Customer Delivery and Warehousing solutions, and enhancing Sales Enablement program execution. This role requires a proactive leader capable of managing multiple projects, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful implementation of new solutions aligned with Kohler Canada’s objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and analyze inefficiencies within the supply chain through data collection and performance metrics.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and gather insights from teams regarding project improvements and best practices.
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Customer Delivery solutions (e.g., Direct Imports, Collect) ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement a structured stage gate process for Sales Enablement projects, providing clear criteria for project evaluation and progression.
- Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to foster effective collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Lead warehousing projects to improve distribution processes, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to implement new technologies and systems that enhance inventory management and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to warehousing initiatives, ensuring successful project completion.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to identify problem areas and budget deviations in KBNA’s transportation network.
- Present findings and solutions to senior management.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications.
- Serve as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including Sales, Operations, Finance, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for project initiatives.
- Regularly communicate project status updates, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, fostering transparency and collaboration.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard execution.
- Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues that may impact deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Over 6 years of experience in project management within the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Ability to influence supply chain teams to take proactive actions to manage risks and recommend operational changes to address chronic process and system issues.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities, with experience in Six Sigma or other methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively balance on-time delivery and supply chain cost goals.
