We are seeking a Business Analyst co-op to join our growing Customer Insights and Value team. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing pharmaceutical R&D spending trends, developing data-driven insights, and supporting our customer relationships. This co-op position is for 8 months and it is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment while making a meaningful impact on our business and our clients.

You will:
- Analyze pharmaceutical R&D spending data to build compelling business cases and quantify BenchSci’s value to prospective and existing customers
- Develop and refine research spend-related metrics, datasets, and dashboards to support customer-facing business reviews with data-driven insights
- Become a knowledge expert on pharmaceutical R&D spending trends and benchmarks, providing key insights to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to leverage pharmaceutical spending insights for account delivery, customer growth, and strategic decision-making
- Assist in forecasting industry benchmarks and reporting insights for business evaluations and planning.
- Currently enrolled in the Master’s degree program focused on Life Science
- Strong financial acumen and ability to interpret complex datasets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Experience or familiarity with data and visualization tools such as Looker, Salesforce, or Python is an asset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving
