We are currently seeking a Field Service Specialist to join our dedicated Customer Care Service Team in the Alberta region. In this role, you will be instrumental in the service and maintenance of ambulances, buses, and specialty vehicles across Alberta. Your expertise will ensure our vehicles meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities

As the Field Service Specialist, you will:

  • Travel extensively within Alberta and occasionally to other locations in Canada to perform:
    • Warranty repairs
    • Preventative maintenance
    • Troubleshooting and diagnostics
    • Campaign work
    • General vehicle repair and service
  • Provide high-quality customer service and ensure best-in-class service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Remote Service Planner, Warranty Administrator, and Parts Team to ensure timely resolution of customer service requests and proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of service work performed, warranty claims, and corrective actions taken.
  • Identify business opportunities with customers and provide feedback on market trends and competition.
  • Attend and participate in regular Technical Support Team meetings and company training programs.
  • Travel periodically to key suppliers, bus manufacturers, and trade shows.
Qualifications

As the Field Service Specialist, you will bring:

Essential

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical service and repair field, preferably in customer service roles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, parts, and maintenance manuals.
  • Experience with light trucks, vehicle components, and diagnostics is an asset.
  • Experience as an Automotive Technician, RV Technician, or similar role is an asset.
  • ODP (Ozone / Refrigerant Handling) certification is an asset.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) is an asset.
