Position Summary
The Director, Leadership Pathways is responsible for strategic and systematic leadership development opportunities for members, ensuring that EO membership is a transformational growth experience for our members as leaders. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training frameworks within an organization. This role involves assessing the training needs of member volunteers and facilitators, developing curriculum in collaboration with organizational stakeholders, selecting appropriate training methods, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. Accountable for all operational aspects of training and member leader satisfaction with the training in the organization. In this key organizational role, the Director, Leadership Pathways, leads in a way that embodies EO values, modeling collaborative, stakeholder-oriented communication.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Training Framework Design and Management
- Oversee the development, operational execution, and long-term strategic planning of the EO Training framework, collaborating with organizational stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Path of Leadership.
- Develop, articulate, and implement organizational training standards to ensure consistent member experience and maintain high-quality training delivery by relevant organizational stakeholders.
- Design and manage training program components that facilitate leadership growth and development across various levels of organizational membership.
- Implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of leadership development training and utilize data-driven insights to enhance program offerings.
- Establish a comprehensive training evaluation mechanism to provide constructive feedback to training stakeholders and identify opportunities for improvement and evolution in training practices.
- Conduct regular assessments to determine the training and development needs of member leaders within the organization, with a focus on continuous improvement to enhance member retention.
- Manage the budget and other resources associated with the development and administration of the Training Framework.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Development and Training Portfolio to oversee the development and implementation of leadership content.
- Supervise the creation and curation of both virtual and in-person leadership development curricula, targeting global, regional, and chapter leaders, as well as EO membership audiences, in alignment with the EO Leadership Principles and Leadership Mindset.
- Evaluate and configure the Learning Management System (LMS) to effectively deliver leadership training in a virtual format, ensuring sustainable knowledge management and certification processes.
- Facilitate ongoing collaboration and discussions across functions to enhance alignment and promote co-creation.
- Conduct regular audits of organizational leadership content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- In collaboration with the Leadership Development and Training Portfolio, lead the pilot and organizational implementation of the “Leadership Quotient” Change Project, aimed at evaluating the leadership skills and capabilities of EO members.
- Identify and partner with a strategic ally to scope and implement the Leadership Quotient project in accordance with the Portfolio’s three-year plan.
- Ensure the seamless transition of the Leadership Quotient project into an organizational system and align it with the Path of Leadership and existing training offerings.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing training frameworks and programs in corporate, non-profit and/or education-related fields.
- Strong leadership skills, deep understanding of learning theories, experience in training and development, strategic thinking capabilities, and proficiency in organizational behavior and human resources practices.
- A successful track record in creating, organizing, and implementing training strategy and execution with an international organization.
- Experience with LMS, exceptional communication skills both written and oral with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact, diplomacy, and poise.
- Ability to thrive and maintain effectiveness in a fast-paced, changing organizational environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders in an international setting.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Other preferred areas of experience include: Training and Development, Coaching and Mentoring, Strategic Partnerships, Cross Functional Team Leadership, Training Content Creation, Lesson Planning and Delivery, Virtual Instruction, Evaluation and Support, and Online Content Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, fluency in a second language preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work with ease across cultures, geographies, and time zones.
