BUT PREMIER : Le VPR est responsable de la bonne gestion de toutes les opérations liées à une région désignée sous la direction du président. Sa responsabilité principale consiste à développer et à construire le territoire en québec et l'atlantique afin de faciliter la réalisation des objectifs de croissance et d'affaires de l'entreprise en atteignant des objectifs de croissance, de rentabilité, de rotation des travaux en cours, de qualité et de gestion des comptes clients.

FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS ESSENTIELLES

• Gérer et superviser toutes les opérations sur le terrain dans la région afin d'atteindre les objectifs établis pour les mesures clés de performance de croissance, de rentabilité, de rotation des travaux en cours, de qualité et de gestion des comptes clients
• Encadrer, former et développer les gestionnaires/chefs d'équipe pour qu'ils deviennent compétents et motivés à faciliter la réalisation des objectifs de leur district conformément aux objectifs régionaux
• Développer de nouvelles affaires et assurer la croissance de la région assignée
• Participer à la préparation du budget annuel; gérer le budget et toutes les dépenses liées à la région
• Approuver les dépenses pour la région
• Assurer la responsabilité des besoins en main-d'œuvre et des évaluations du personnel pour la région
• Travailler avec le service de qualité et d'éducation pour s'assurer que tout le personnel est formé et respecte les normes de l'entreprise
• Animer les réunions régionales

• Les fonctions sont exercées avec une supervision minimale du président.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formation et certification

• Baccalauréat requis et/ou expérience de travail équivalente.
  
  

Expérience

• Un minimum de dix (10) ans d'expérience dans l'industrie de l'assurance, de préférence en tant qu'expert en règlement de sinistres indépendant
• Minimum de cinq (5) années d'expérience en gestion
  
  

Compétences et connaissances

• Forte capacité technique dans toutes les lignes d'assurance et connaissance du marché de Lloyd's
• Solides compétences en communication
• Souci du détail et sens de l'organisation
• Capacité à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe
• Capacité à hiérarchiser la charge de travail et souplesse permettant de gérer plusieurs tâches
• Solides compétences informatiques et analytiques
• Maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Excel et Word)

PRIMARY PURPOSE: he RVP is responsible for the successful management of all operations related to a designated region under the direction of the Senior Vice President. The primary responsibility is to develop and build the region in Quebec and Atlantic in order to facilitate the achievement of the company’s growth and business objectives by meeting goals in growth, profit, WIP turnover, quality and AR.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS And RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages and oversees all field operations in the region in order to and meet established goals for the key performance measures of growth, profit, WIP turnover, quality and AR
• Mentors, trains and develops Managers/Team Leads to become competent, and motivated to facilitate the achievement of their district goals in line with the regional goals
• Develops new business and ensures the growth of the assigned region
• Participates in the preparation of the annual budget; manages the budget and all expenses related to the region
• Approves expenses for the region
• Responsible for the staffing needs and staffing evaluations for the region
• Works with the Quality and Education department to ensure all staff are trained and meeting company standards
• Facilitates regional meetings

• Duties are carried out with minimal supervision from the President.
• Supervises and evaluates Managers/Team Leads
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

• Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent work experience.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in the insurance industry; preferable independent adjusting
• Minimum of five 5) years management experience
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong technical ability in all lines of Insurance and knowledge of the Lloyd’s Market
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks
• Strong computer and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
