Position: Data Technology Consultant

• Location: Toronto or Montreal, Canada

Keyrus Canada is seeking a Data Technology Consultant skilled in end-to-end data engineering and analytics. In this role, you’ll deliver data insights across the analytics spectrum, from backend data engineering to front-end visualization, while working directly with clients. You’ll leverage top tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Azure, and Snowflake to enhance their data intelligence.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with client business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build, maintain, and optimize backend data solutions, including data preparation, cleansing, and ETL processes.
• Design and implement data visualizations that effectively communicate insights, using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Support and lead data migrations and integrations within platforms like Power BI and Azure.
• Work independently in client-facing scenarios, handling client communications and managing project timelines to ensure the highest quality delivery.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings a balance of technical skills and consulting experience:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in roles such as Business Intelligence Developer, Data Engineer, Data Consultant or similars
• Proficiency in Azure, Snowflake, and Power BI is essential; familiarity with Tableau, Qlik, DBT, Databricks, and Talend is a strong plus.
• Solid knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices, especially within Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Experience with data mapping, blending, and ETL processes, with skills in tools like Talend, Data Bricks, DBT being advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously and interact effectively with clients.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
