Learning Coordinator:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Learning Coordinator for a 6-month role. This position is a fully remote position based in Toronto, Ontario.


Learning Coordinator - Job Description:

The Learning Coordinator will be part of the Learning Design Centre of Expertise, focusing on executing core critical solution development. The role involves working closely with Learning Design colleagues to develop innovative learning solutions and assets that enhance the learner experience.


Learning Coordinator - Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Learning Design colleagues to estimate work effort and timelines for proposed solutions.
  • Leverage best-in-class methodologies and innovative technologies to provide effective learning through various modalities.
  • Develop learning assets such as web-based learning, job aids, participant guides, and infographics.
  • Produce graphic design elements independently based on requirements.
  • Ensure learning assets align with bank core values, accessibility standards, templates, branding, and user experience.
  • Lead QA and testing routines in partnership with Learning Design colleagues and Vendor Partners.
  • Organize time and work to accomplish project deliverables effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate the status of all projects with key stakeholders to ensure on-time and within-budget deliverables.


Learning Coordinator - Mandatory Skills:

  • Post-secondary school Diploma, preferably in Graphic Design or Adult Education.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within a Learning team.
  • Intermediate-Expert skill in eLearning authoring tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (bonus if bilingual in French).
  • Basic-Intermediate HTML coding skill.
  • Proficiency with creative tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate RISE, Camtasia 9, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
  • Proven skills in design and development at the curriculum, course, and module level across all learning design channels.


Learning Coordinator – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with mobile, social, gamification, video, classroom, virtual classroom, e-learning, and blended learning design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards.
  • Experience in a banking or financial services environment.


Learning Coordinator – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month temporary position.
