This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely.

Position Summary

The Senior Director, Ecosystem will serve as a key member of the Global Ecosystem and Partnerships Team. You will be responsible for driving strategy and business development programs and business development initiatives that contribute to Vena’s short- and long-term ecosystem growth and revenue expansion. You will have responsibility for leading efforts to expand our most strategic relationships, including Microsoft, augmenting their gaps and/or creating added business value that helps all stakeholders advance their goals. You will also partner with the Partner Sales organization to ensure alignment with respective Solution Integrators, Service Delivery Partners, and Resellers to maximize results with Microsoft. Additionally, you will have a direct influence on the evolution of the company’s global GTM and partner marketing strategy.

What you will do

  • Crafting a comprehensive strategy to achieve our corporate objective through partnerships
  • Building relationships with very large, matrixed Partner accounts
  • Establishing and facilitating all interactions between Vena and our Strategic Partners
  • Increasing Vena’s influence with Strategic Partner Sales and Product Teams
  • Devising Go-to-Market plans in alignment with Corporate and Partner Objectives
  • Liaising with members of Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Experience to facilitate Strategic Partner initiatives

Does this sound like you?

  • 5+ Years in Partnerships, Alliances, Business Development roles
  • 3+ Years of Strategic Partner Management inclusive of very large software technology leaders such as Sfdc, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle
  • Deep understanding of SaaS-based business models
  • Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
  • High degree of resourcefulness, tenacity, flexibility and adaptability with strong negotiation and prioritization skills
  • Business oriented in order to deliver and increase results with current accounts
  • Excellent teamwork enabling you to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
  • Proven reputation as a contributor who exemplifies and fits with Vena’s core values: Customer Trust, One Team, Respect & Authenticity, Execution Excellence
