RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary

Department / Research Program: CANTRAIN

We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual student (medical writing, linguistics, etc. ) with a strong command of both English and French to join our team. The incumbent will review, edit, and proofread English-to-French translations in the AI-driven platform Smartcat, ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency with clinical research technical terminology.

General Duties

• Review, edit proofread English to French translation;
• Ensure linguistic accuracy and consistency with Clinical Research terminology;
• Assist the designer and developers team in reformatting and adapting online learning designs into French.

Education / Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Skills

• Bilinguism in French and English,

Additional information

Status : Temporary Part-Time

Number of hours per workweek: 10 hours.

Pay Scale: Commensurate with education & work experience. $34,125.00 - $51,178.40.

Work Shift: Variable Schedule

Work Site: Remote
