Our client offers digital solutions for the insurance and investment sector, working with over 250 of the world's leading financial institutions. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (.Net Core/React) for a permanent position in Montreal, with an estimated salary of between 95 and 130K depending on experience and expertise. Possibility of 100% teleworking from Canada. Ideally bilingual, English required.

The Senior Full-Stack Developer (.Net Core/React) reports to the Director of Software Development and works with a multidisciplinary team comprising a team leader, a delivery manager, a business analyst and another senior developer.

The incumbent will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of various functionalities within a web application used to access and manage data from insurance administration systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Designing and developing complex user interfaces with React, ensuring responsive and intuitive web applications.
• Back-End Development: Creating scalable solutions using .Net Core to support the growth of web applications.
• RESTful APIs: Designing and implementing APIs to integrate microservices.
• UI/UX collaboration: Working with designers to translate mock-ups into functional front-end components.
• Requirements management: Working with the Product Owner to refine user stories and transform them into feasible technical tasks.
• Code review: Carrying out regular code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• CI/CD and DevOps: Working with DevOps teams to optimise deployment pipelines and ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.
• Continuous improvement: Participating in sprint reviews, gathering feedback from stakeholders and integrating this feedback into future iterations.
• Innovation and mentoring: Promote an environment of innovation and collaboration by adopting coding best practices.
  
  

Profil

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information technology, or equivalent degree with three years' relevant experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 to 8 years in full-stack development (.NET CORE) and 5 years with React.
• LANGUAGE: ADVANCED ENGLISH REQUIRED
• Front-End: Solid command of React, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development frameworks.
• Back-End: Experience in creating and using microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Databases: Knowledge of SQL database design and maintenance (stored procedures, views, triggers).
• Versioning: Proficiency in Git for source control.
• Debugging: Advanced problem-solving and debugging skills for front-end and back-end systems.
• Organisation: Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication, analysis and synthesis skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and multi-task.
• Team spirit, autonomy, rigour, diplomacy and discipline.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with Cloud environments (Azure).
