Manager information Security - Canada REMOTE

Job Description

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on infrastructure, data protection, and operational technology security
• Proven experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex IT and OT environments
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443)
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), encryption, and access control systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Experience with cloud security and securing cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA security
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
