Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Build out dashboard and reporting capabilities through MS office programs and underwriting systems
• Maintain underwriting platform templates and reports
• Ensure data provided is correct, precise, timely and accurate
• Develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes
• Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
• Assist in and conduct presentations to stakeholders, including the creation of presentation decks
• Document procedures and keep them up to date
• Collaborate and communicate with various levels of stakeholders
• Organize all critical initiatives and prioritizing based on business requirements; monitor project plans and deliverables
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• P&C insurance experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Proven organization skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to apply analytical thinking and creative problem solving to daily tasks
• Must be self-motivated with the initiative to take on a variety of tasks
• Strategic mindset with ability to provide deliverables and build strong partnerships with key cross functional leadership
• Must be adaptable and be able to quickly jump from one project to another
