The Sr Manager of Growth Strategy and Analytics is instrumental in driving Petfolk's growth through data-driven decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and insightful performance analysis. This role bridges analytics, performance marketing, and creative strategy, ensuring alignment across departments to optimize revenue and customer lifetime value (LTV).

This position collaborates closely with teams in performance marketing, CRM, brand, SEO, staffing, and finance to build robust frameworks for measuring success, allocating resources effectively, and identifying impactful growth strategies. By developing advanced reporting tools and attribution models, the Growth Strategy and Analytics Manager ensures Petfolk remains at the forefront of data-driven innovation.

With a focus on location-based insights and financial optimization, this role directly impacts Petfolk's profitability and scalability. The ideal candidate thrives in spreadsheets and data sets, brings creative thinking to strategy, and is a natural collaborator with agencies and performance marketers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting and Benchmarking:
    • Partner with Data Engineering to build and maintain a comprehensive reporting stack for performance marketing, CRM, brand, organic, and local SEO metrics
    • Establish benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate success across all marketing channels
  • Attribution and Insights:
    • Develop and implement a robust attribution framework that accounts for customer behaviors, including offline interactions like phone calls
    • Generate actionable location-based insights to guide budget allocation and growth opportunities
  • Resource Allocation and Strategy:
    • Create location-specific allocation strategies to maximize returns within set budgets
    • Collaborate with the staffing and availability management team to optimize staffing mixes for revenue growth and profitability
  • Campaign Analysis and Optimization:
    • Evaluate and synthesize performance data to form strategic recommendations for maximizing growth and LTV
    • Work with creative and performance marketing teams to refine campaign strategies and outcomes
  • Modeling and Frameworks:
    • Build and maintain spreadsheet models to support strategic decision-making and financial projections
    • Establish company-wide perspectives on successful campaigns and growth strategies
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Data and Analytics Expertise:
    • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis tools
    • Deep understanding of marketing attribution models, performance metrics, and growth frameworks
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Proven experience working closely with performance marketers, agencies, and cross-functional teams
    • Ability to present data-driven insights clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
  • Strategic Thinking:
    • Skilled in developing creative strategies informed by data
    • Strong ability to balance analytical rigor with innovative thinking
  • Results-Driven:
    • Track record of high performance in fast-paced environments
    • Demonstrated ability to optimize marketing strategies for growth and profitability
Preferred Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience working at or with high growth companies
  • Experience in performance marketing, CRM, and SEO
  • Familiarity with creative strategy and campaign analysis
  • Prior experience with location-based analytics and staffing optimization is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This role is remote, requiring a dedicated workspace with reliable internet access.
  • Regular communication through video conferencing, email, and collaborative tools is essential.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) to headquarters or Petfolk locations for meetings and project assessments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working on a computer.
