Position Summary
As an Account Manager for Ontario at Extreme Networks, you will drive business growth by managing and expanding relationships with key customers while generating new logos. You will work closely with partners and distributors to align with our strategic goals. This role is ideal for a competitive, intellectually curious team player who is highly organized, disciplined, and values candor and transparency.

As an Account Manager for Ontario at Extreme Networks, you will drive business growth by managing and expanding relationships with key customers while generating new logos. You will work closely with partners and distributors to align with our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, and IT managers.
- Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all account-related matters, ensuring customer needs are met with transparency and integrity.
- Drive new logo growth by prospecting for new business while expanding the existing install base.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving predictable and consistent revenue growth.
- Position Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, Channel Partners, and distributors to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, contributing to a positive and productive culture.
- Share insights and strategies openly, fostering a transparent and supportive atmosphere.
- Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with cross-functional teams within the territory and across the company.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with both client business objectives and Extreme Networks’ goals.
- Provide detailed business planning and reporting, including monthly forecasts, weekly commits, and pipeline development.
- Understand customer needs and present tailored solutions that align with Extreme Networks' value propositions.
- Stay current on company offerings, industry trends, and competitive products to provide value-driven solutions.
Experience:
- 5-10+ years in account management or sales, preferably in the technology or networking industry.
- Proven track record as a hunter, successfully developing new logos and closing large, complex deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and disciplined, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Competitive and intellectually curious, with a drive to succeed and continuously improve.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
- Proven hunter with a history of developing new prospective customers and collaborating across cross-functional internal teams, ensuring target quotas are achieved and exceeded.
- Driven to successfully close large complex deals amid a mix of new business, established accounts, and channel management.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills; with effective Solution Selling skills into enterprise networking environments at the CXO levels.
- Strong Business plan development and forecasting experience.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- High degree of candor and transparency in all interactions.
- Self-starter with a commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers, Channel Partners, and distributors, and attend industry events.
- Must be a self-starter with high energy and drive who takes initiative and works with limited direction.
- A highly trusted business partner, who maintains and expects high standards for self and team.
- An accomplished Account Executive with an established account base, strong regional Customer and Channel Partner relationships.
- Relevant industry/competitive knowledge.
- Proven and verifiable track record in exceeding sales quotas; achieving Club.
- Strong Competitive Industry and Product Knowledge with the ability to articulate the Extreme Networks Business Value Proposition.
