Job Description:
As the Marketing Campaign and Events Manager, you will be strategizing, creating, and managing a wide range of marketing programs and communications at all stages of the funnel, including lead generation and nurturing campaigns, events participation strategy, social and email communications, landing pages, along with the analytics to monitor results, make improvements, and attribute activities to revenue.
The successful candidate will be talented, hands-on, passionate, and most importantly, metrics and process-driven. The Marketing Campaign and Events Manager will report to the Marketing Director and will work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES (How you’ll make an impact)
- Own, develop, and execute creative multi-channel campaign and events strategies to drive demand generation and nurture contacts at all stages of the funnel
- Maintain and communicate a calendar of campaigns and events to provide transparency for and create alignment with key stakeholders
- Manage the strategy and creation of email newsletters, event invitations, and social media communications
- Understand our various buyer personas and develop messaging that resonates with them
- Manage prospective and client data in Salesforce and HubSpot, including email lists, segmentation, and automation for targeting new prospects and customer up-sell opportunities
- Track the progression of leads and opportunities sourced from marketing activities and programs in dashboards and reports
- Work closely with the Salesforce lead to create and maintain metric tracking for various marketing channels
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, channels, and events with recommendations for optimization to achieve and exceed expectations
- Create and optimize digital content with the best SEM and SEO practices
QUALIFICATIONS (What you’ll bring to the team)
- College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing, lead generation, and programs and events
- 5 years of experience with marketing automation and CRM software (HubSpot and Salesforce experience are required)
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications is an asset (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that drive engagement and conversions
- Track record of delivering ROI on marketing investment and executing impactful events and marketing programs
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
- Well-versed in marketing funnel reporting and industry KPIs, such as website analytics, pipeline metrics, MQL to SQL conversion rates, CPL, cost per sale by channel, win rates, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, working with a high degree of independence
- Organized! Must be diligent with prioritization and timely project updates with great attention to detail to manage a wide range of incoming requests and responsibilities
- Strong work ethic and collaboration skills, working with cross-functional teams to achieve a shared goal
- Energetic and motivated with a positive attitude and sense of humor
- Self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and the ability to learn quickly
- Experience working with MarTech tools, including Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager
- Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Ability to occasionally travel to industry events
