Role Summary:
Dropps, a leader in eco-friendly, sustainable home care products, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Fulfillment and Distribution. This role will oversee our 3PL's operational performance; retail, DTC and Amazon order fulfillment, compliance with customer routing requirements, fulfillment cost efficiency, and alignment with Dropps' sustainability values. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in 3PL operations, order fulfillment efficiency, and analytics, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000

Role Summary:
Dropps, a leader in eco-friendly, sustainable home care products, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Fulfillment and Distribution. This role will oversee our 3PL's operational performance; retail, DTC and Amazon order fulfillment, compliance with customer routing requirements, fulfillment cost efficiency, and alignment with Dropps' sustainability values. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in 3PL operations, order fulfillment efficiency, and analytics, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement distribution & logistics strategies to support company's short- and long-term goals
- Order Fulfillment & Logistics Excellence: Oversee Wholesale, DTC and Amazon order fulfillment, and inbound and outbound transportation operations and ensure our 3PL partners are meeting service, cost, customer routing requirements and quality expectations
- Inventory Management: Owns 3PL inventory management, weekly and monthly inventory reconciliation
- Metric Reporting: Develop, own and report Logistics and fulfillment KPI's
- Budgeting: Develop and implement operational and Financial Annual Operating Plan
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain functions, with a focus on reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and supporting Dropps' sustainability goals
- Vendor Scorecarding: Develop formal quarterly supplier relationship management for all primary suppliers
- Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with cross-functional teams including supply planning, finance, and sales operations to ensure alignment on business objectives and supply chain strategies
- Sustainability Focus: Lead efforts to ensure that all supply chain processes are in line with Dropps' commitment to environmental sustainability, minimizing waste, and reducing the carbon footprint of supply chain activities
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in supply chain management, order fulfillment, , or related roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in consumer packaged goods, retail grocery channel, E-tailers (esp. Amazon)and direct-to-consumer sectors
- Technical Skills: Strong command of Netsuite, Amazon Seller Portal and Google Suite
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate 3rd party providers; strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills with an ability to analyze data sets and implement actionable strategies
- Sustainability Mindset: Passion for sustainability and commitment to environmental impact reduction in supply chain processes
- Ability to use common office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, mouse/touchpad, etc.
- Ability to visually interpret images
- Ability to communicate with team members and attend virtual or in-person meetings as applicable
- This role is primarily stationary, so must be able to sustain sitting/standing for the majority of work time
- Ability to bend and squat
- Ability to lift 25 + lbs
