As a core member of the Marketing Team, the Marketing Specialist collaborates closely with team members across Events, Communication & Brand, and Product Marketing to support MindBridge's go-to-market strategy. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Event Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will also contribute to multi-channel marketing campaigns and audience engagement initiatives.


You will be actively involved in day-to-day marketing activities, including, but not limited to, project management, CRM reporting, vendor relations, campaign execution, and performance analysis.

You have an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and are self-motivated and goal-oriented. You have proven experience in project management, a passion for marketing strategy, and the ability to see projects through from ideation to execution. You have a passion for marketing and have a strong desire to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the planning and execution of our brand events, including content and speaker management, communications plans, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Design and implement event communications, including pre- and post-event emails, working closely with the Content Manager on the social content calendar.
  • Support the Event Marketing Team at in-person events such as conferences, tradeshows, and networking events. Travel to and from events as needed.
  • Partner with the Marketing Operations Team to evaluate event performance based on KPIs, track leads, and assess event ROI.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines for campaigns and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Track, measure, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, sharing actionable insights to optimize strategies for lead generation and customer retention.
  • Assist in developing creative assets for marketing initiatives, including social media posts, email templates, landing pages, and other promotional materials.
  • Cultivate strong vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution of marketing activities.
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and explore new channels for audience engagement.


Requirements:


  • 0-3 years of marketing experience in B2B software or a degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under strict deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative, be proactive, and work independently.
  • Experience in CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and digital event solutions (e.g., Cvent).
  • Solid Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills to present insights and create compelling reports.
  • Creative thinker with an energetic, positive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
  • Must be based in Ottawa area, and flexible to come into the office as needed.
