Payroll Processing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including salary, hourly, and commission-based employees
• Calculate and process bonuses, commissions, and other compensation adjustments
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the payroll system
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll tax regulations
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and payments
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data
• Keep abreast of changes in payroll laws and regulations and make necessary updates to processes and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee data
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing,
• Proficient in payroll software, such as ADP or Paychex
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
