What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and other services
• Handle incoming calls, complete follow-up and referral work queues, and manage ticket scheduling
• Communicate with patient care teams to ensure efficient and appropriate care for patients
• Accurately enter data into the electronic health record while interacting with patients
• Support various population management and chronic disease management initiatives through patient registry and outbound calling
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical healthcare experience, or 1 year as a Patient Scheduler I, or 1 year in a contact/call center
• Completion of designated HBI Courses within one year of hire
• Ability to obtain required signatures and documents from patients
• Proficiency in data entry and managing high call volumes
• Strong customer service skills while working as part of a care team
