You will building courses using a course scope and sequence document. There may be an occasional need for you to do some additional tasks like quiz building.

You will support Ease's Learning Content Operations team by parsing project needs and expectations, assisting with project scoping, design consultation, and crafting templates and style guides. You will work collaboratively to ensure learning designs are instructionally sound, meet client guidelines, reflect our Learning Quality Framework, and meet the needs of our clients and their learners.

What You'll Bring
This is a contract position requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week starting at the end of January and lasting for 30-60 days.
Ease Learning is a fully remote organization. As a independent contractor, you have the flexibility and portability to manage your own schedule, while maintaining deliverables and communication with your team.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Undergraduate degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field; in lieu of degree, practical experience will be considered
- Experience in using Canvas and/or Brightspace for course development
- Capability to create, edit, and organize course content originally provided in a Word document using the LMS's built-in editor
- Ability to create and edit discussions, assignments, LTI assignments
- Ability to embed media (Kaltura, HP5, iframes)
- Ability to creating rubrics for assignments
- Experience setting due dates
- Ability to ensure gradebook is accurate
- Quiz bank creation
- Proficiency in HTML
- Ability to ensure course quality by verifying that all course elements are accessible to students (i.e. media, documents, URLs, etc.)
- Advanced Degree in Instructional Design/Education Technology
- Experience with CidiLabs
- Experience supporting the integration of third-party tools
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Knowledge of Articulate Rise, Kaltura
- Strong critical thinking skills and proactive in asking questions
