As Caseware continues to grow and evolve, so does the needs of our Executive team. We’re looking to hire a Chief of Staff to work directly with our CEO and the Executive team as a trusted strategic advisor. You'll work across the entire business, promoting collaboration and communication between all divisions with a focus on ensuring the quality and timeliness of the execution of our strategic priorities.

In this role, you will be reporting directly to the CEO; and work closely with the executive leadership team and senior leadership team

This role is hybrid / remote and is open to Greater Toronto or Boston Area residents.

This role will require business travel.  

Key Priority Your key priority is to ensure our leadership executes on the strategic priorities designed in partnership with our investors, Hg Capital. This is truly a high impact position. Effectively executing and delivering will result in considerable growth of the business and overall enterprise value.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as an extension of our CEO, David Osborne, in meetings, while working closely with the leadership team(s) to ensure priorities are optimized and operational targets are being met.
  • Prepare the CEO and leadership team in advance of critical internal and external meetings.
  • Part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring there are clear deliverables, effective communication and redirecting focus in alignment with executive team where necessary to achieve success.
  • Report on roadmap prioritization and progress to ensure key milestones and metrics are reported, tracked and reviewed appropriately.
  • Part of the M&A team, working pre and post acquisitions. Manage these critical investments by creating integration plans and ensuring these are well planned, communicated and completed cross functionally.
  • Building and presenting executive presentations for internal and external stakeholders, as applicable.
  • Build trust amongst all the executive leaders and act as advisor on key issues, productivity and suggest ways to optimize overall operations.
  • Actively involved in key client meetings, BoD meetings and internal strategic planning meetings, occasionally acting as an extension of CEO when he can’t be present
  • If applicable, working with data room to manage internal documents.


What you will bring:

  • Have at least 4-5 years of experience as management consultant or relevant work experience followed by;
  • Preferred: 3+ years within an organization focused on strategy, operationsand finance
  • Preference for an MBA or the relevant business experience
  • Have experience working with the executive and board levels for tech / software companies, or related experience
  • Have experience with due diligence through mergers and acquisitions, to include integrations
  • Demonstrated ability in gathering, analyzing and presenting financial plans and forecasts
  • Are detail oriented and eye toward polished business modelling and strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a high sense of maturity and urgency and can prioritize effectively
  • Set examples of ethics, ore company values and respect confidentiality
