Sales Development Representative

ThinkLP
Full time
Marketing and Sales
Canada
Hiring from: Canada

About ThinkLP:

ThinkLP is a fast-growing Loss & Safety Intelligence Platform focused on curbing risk for its customers. We help track, predict, and mitigate risks, primarily theft and safety, which are challenges that have become more complex and frequent. ThinkLP primarily serves Loss Prevention (LP) and Safety departments across leading global brands (such as Nike, Kroger, Sephora, and Home Depot), providing them with investigation management and business intelligence solutions to protect their teams and bottom line.

The Role:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing software company and meaningfully contribute to achieving team goals (both quantitative and qualitative). From facilitating initial conversations, to finding creative approaches to penetrate mid-market and enterprise accounts, and to developing team-wide best practices, you will be an integral member of our Sales organization. You will be part of a small (yet mighty!) team that is highly collaborative, and in this role, you’ll be responsible for creating excitement about ThinkLP.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify prospective customers and contacts within mid-market and large enterprises
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospects by screening inbound leads and conducting outbound prospecting
  • Develop creative strategies to engage and build relationships with prospective customers
  • Conduct both targeted and high-volume phone, email, and social outreach
  • Lead discovery calls, identify pain points, and pitch customers on ThinkLP’s value proposition
  • Book product demos for Account Executives
  • Consult and collaborate with team members and share best practices
  • Attend tradeshows and pitch prospects in person

What we look for:

  • Minimum 6 months of pipeline generation and sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong listening skills and can think on your feet
  • Very strong work ethic, highly organized, persistent, data-driven, team-oriented
  • Coachable and seeks out feedback
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and scrappy
  • Enterprise software experience is a plus, but not required

Other information:

  • Compensation: Up to CAD 125k OTE, with some flexibility depending on experience
  • Time Zone: Central or Eastern preferred

We believe that talent is based on what you can do, not what you’ve done. And we know that supporting a diverse team with varied lived experiences advances equality, inspires innovation, and ultimately drives better business outcomes. These beliefs and actions are true to ThinkLP’s “PeopleFirst” philosophy, which is rooted in how we invest, hire, and show up daily. If you’re interested in this role, but do not meet all of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply anyways.

Individuals seeking employment at ThinkLP are considered without regards to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, veteran status, gender identity, or sexual orientation or any other basis prohibited by applicable federal, provincial, or local law.

ThinkLP is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible recruitment process and work environment. Accommodation is available to all applicants upon request throughout the hiring process. If you require accommodation, please let our PeopleOps team know, or you can email [email protected].
