The Work You Will Do

The Work You Will Do
- Work in a team atmosphere within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to pre-natal and adult patients for trauma and primary care, including delivery of newborns, treating minor acute illnesses and injuries, and conducting general treatment clinics
- Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan
- Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice

- You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
- You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
- You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the province or territory you wish to work
- You meet the required work experience (ER/Acute/Critical Care/ICU/Remote or isolated community experience) of the province or Territory you wish to work in (1500 to 3000 hours depending on location)
- Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview
