Role Summary
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual who is looking for a rewarding career. The Senior National Healthcare Account Manager will have the primary responsibility of developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key National Healthcare accounts. Their primary responsibility is to drive aggressive growth of Export Packers Commodity and Value-Added business in the Healthcare segment. This individual will succeed by developing and executing strong strategic plans and forging relationships with key decision-makers at senior living chains, distributor healthcare divisions, group purchasing organizations (GPO’s), hospitals, and other non-commercial accounts. The ideal incumbent will have existing relationships and an affinity for building partnerships with key distributor healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans associated with current and prospective Healthcare/Non-commercial accounts to build and sustain growth.
- Work collaboratively with FS Sales, Marketing, Procurement, and our in-house Creative Services teams on innovation opportunities.
- Oversee all aspects of trade marketing spend, new product listings, pricing, forecasting, and product portfolio management as part of the overall foodservice strategy.
- Conduct top-top quarterly business reviews with all targeted National and Regional healthcare accounts.
- Report to the executive team on a quarterly basis relative to strategic planning initiatives and updates.
- Other duties as assigned
- Exceptional understanding of the healthcare foodservice industry, the decision-making process within key accounts and GPO’s, and the national operator landscape
- Minimum of 5-year proven track record of sales experience within healthcare industry
- Sound understanding of the financial impact programs can have in delivering the overall gross profit plan.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- Proven communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop strong relationships with key decision makers
- Solid business acumen
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Home based with business travel as required
- Summer hours (half day off every Friday between Victoria Day weekend and Labor Day weekend)
