What this role is all about:

The Digital Marketing Manager, Performance, will play a critical role in Beem Credit Union’s digital marketing initiatives by developing and executing integrated marketing strategies focused on enhancing member engagement and driving growth through performance management. This position will optimize both paid media campaigns and organic digital strategies, leveraging data analytics and member insights to ensure alignment with the overall business objectives set by the AVP, Digital Marketing. The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate across teams to enhance brand visibility, improve member acquisition and retention, and foster brand loyalty, all while establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

This role is eligible for remote work within British Columbia.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and implement effective paid media strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on member acquisition and retention.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently to optimize campaign performance – ensuring planning and management of pace and paid media spending is essential.
  • Develop and oversee organic marketing initiatives, including content marketing, SEO, and social media strategies, to drive brand awareness and member engagement.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with overarching marketing strategies.
  • Manage and utilize data analytics to evaluate the performance of paid and organic campaigns, deriving actionable insights that inform strategy adjustments and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with the AVP, Digital Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to align digital marketing efforts with member needs and organizational goals.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to assess marketing effectiveness, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement to leadership.
  • Mentor and guide digital marketing paid and organic specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to achieve team goals.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to refine marketing strategies based on performance data and member feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and compliance standards, including privacy regulations and data security protocols, in all aspects of performance marketing campaigns (both paid and organic).
  • Experienced in managing and developing high-performing specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Design and execute initiatives that encourage member advocacy and strengthen community ties through targeted digital engagement campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and members while supporting acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Gather critical insights to inform product development.
  • Enhance the Performance department's expertise by mentoring team members and contributing to their development through training content, workshops, and other resources.


A little about your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in managing paid media and organic strategies within Credit Unions, Financial Institutions, or the Fintech sector.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Successfully managed high-complexity performance marketing accounts with a monthly media spend above $100K, consistently achieving positive ROI across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and others.
  • Oversaw performance media strategies across various business verticals, including ecommerce and lead generation, with responsibility for pacing, forecasting, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz to understand tracked website traffic, user behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Possesses advanced analytical skills and experience utilizing tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Google Data Studio, and Power BI for effective data analysis and insights.
  • Developed and customized marketing dashboards to improve reporting efficiency and maintain a focus on key objectives and KPIs for both Paid and Organic Channels.
  • Led and maintained complex client relationships, facilitating clear communication among multiple stakeholders through regular meetings and updates.
  • Proficient in leveraging data for informed decision-making, with a solid track record in evaluating campaign effectiveness and implementing strategic adjustments.
  • Experienced in managing and developing high-performing specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.


What you’ll gain:

  • Competitive base salary reviewed annually - the salary range for this position is $89,000 - $98,900
