What to Expect:
This role reports to the National Channel Sales Manager – Health Food Stores (HFS) and is responsible for the effective management of the assigned territory (Vancouver, British Columbia - Lower Mainland) to ensure that individual and team sales and trade spend goals and objectives are achieved, as well as supporting Education and Tradeshow events. This is a field-based role that requires conducting impactful, daily customer face to face sales calls, supplemented with some phone and virtual meetings where appropriate. Overnight travel and weekend work will be required occasionally.
A day in the life:
You will develop territory level business and customer plans, which includes effective analysis of territory- and site-level data, and identification of opportunities and risks, supported by quantified building blocks to achieve sustainable and profitable sales goals. Plans will be individually owned and aligned to integrated Commercial Plan (ICP) and deliver performance through compliance, efficiency-creation, upselling and identifying new sales opportunities expanding dispensary size & product application.

Role Requirements:
- Execute defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead measures that will drive sustainable, profitable territory sales through discussions
- Focus on the growth of existing Strategic and Key Accounts while scouting new business through drop ins, cold calls, and drive new client acquisition to continue expansion of the territory
- Execute against territory level business and customer plans while achieving sales targets both individually and within teams
- Effective negotiation of store-level activities, purchases and displays, leveraging all available tools including pre-approved allowances/discounts and coop, POP, etc.
- Maximize impactful, sales-focused face to face customer interactions that result in sustainable, profitable sales in partnership with the account through shared accountability and clear action
- Active participation in meetings, events and conferences with appropriate follow up.
- Adhere to all company principles, policies, including financial compliance
- Adapt effectively to changes in the internal and external business environment
- Manufacturing Practices Responsibilities:
- Receive and document each product complaint using section A of the product complaint report (CSP-001 Appendix A) and immediately forward to Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs department
- Provide support in the notification of applicable accounts in the event of a product recall
- 3+ years of successful sales or related business experience, preferably in the Specialty, Vitamin Minerals, and Health Supplement (SVMHS) industry
- Naturopathic and or holistic nutrition background strongly desired (background in health and wellness, nutrition, or supplements is an asset)
- Valid full driver’s license and safe driving record is required while being open to frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Post Secondary education in Business and or, Science
- Demonstrated ability to use scientific and clinical information effectively to support the use of Nestlé Health Science and Specialty Vitamins, Minerals and Health Supplements products.
- Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and strong interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills, effective time management, exceptional prioritization abilities, proficient in project management, with a keen eye for detail
