Position Overview
This fully remote role is exclusively open to candidates residing in the United States. As a QA Engineer at Nebulon Dynamics, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability. You'll design and execute tests to identify issues, ensuring our products, services, and offerings meet or exceed industry standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust testing protocols, document results, and drive continuous improvements all from the comfort of your home.
What You'll Be Doing
Testing & Validation:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform manual and automated testing on software, hardware, and service offerings.
Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Validate that all products and services meet functional, performance, and reliability standards.
Process Improvement
Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to identify areas for improvement.
Recommend and implement enhancements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Drive continuous quality improvements across all projects and departments.
Documentation & Reporting
Create detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports.
Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to development teams.
Generate quality reports and metrics for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and trends.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other engineers to understand project requirements.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Communicate complex quality issues to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure all products and services comply with industry standards and company policies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest quality assurance trends, tools, and best practices.
Conduct audits and reviews to verify compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
Experience
3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
Proven experience with manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and testing frameworks.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Postman, or similar).
Understanding of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
