As a Web Coordinator, you will support the digital communication strategy by assisting with content updates, web maintenance, and user experience improvements on internal and external digital platforms. This role requires collaboration with members of the Innovation and Digital Solutions team and various business areas to ensure web content is accessible, accurate, and engaging. The role involves working closely with subject matter experts to simplify complex information for online audiences, maintaining content in content management systems, and ensuring website compliance with SEO and accessibility best practices. The Web Coordinator will also support the creation of reports on web usage, handle inquiries about digital content needs, and troubleshoot basic web issues as needed. This role is integral in helping AHS create a seamless online experience for users while maintaining organizational standards. Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of a post-secondary diploma or certificate in Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least two years of experience in web content management or digital communications. Basic proficiency with content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Drupal, or similar). Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Basic knowledge of web content editing and design principles, with an understanding of web accessibility and SEO practices. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on clarity and grammar. Experience in managing tasks independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS for minor web updates is an asset. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving content issues. An interest in digital communications and a commitment to enhancing.
