What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Research utility termination warnings, potential missing bills, and late fees to determine necessary actions
• Contact utility vendors to verify balances due and negotiate payment arrangements
• Prepare written correspondence to vendors to resolve shut-off possibilities and request replacement bills
• Process payment research items and work closely with internal staff and vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate documentation of research and production task times, adhering to departmental standards
  
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 6 months of previous telephone experience in customer service or collections
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
