SAGE Dining Services is actively seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our Innovation team. You will work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer on design projects across the Hospitality and Education sectors, including serveries, and dining areas. Your expertise will be used to create spaces that are both visually appealing and functional, ensuring that each project aligns with the needs and preferences of our current and prospective clients.

The best candidate will have a passion for design, a solid grasp of space planning, and the ability to bring innovative ideas to fruition.

SAGE's home office is based in Lutherville, MD, which is the preferred location. However, the position is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Preference will be given to individuals residing in or around target market areas. Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the U.S. They will be employed by SAGE, not in a 1099 capacity.

$90,000 - $110,000 Salary

What You'll Do

• Create 2D and 3D drawings/renderings of serveries and dining rooms for private and independent schools and colleges.
• Create 3D models of accessories and food items.
• Prepare digital presentations, including 3D rendering and floor plans.
• Maintain and update the 3D model library to mimic current food trends and company innovations.
• Interact with Sales and Operations Team to assemble the most efficient use of space to increase sales and manage traffic patterns.
• Assist with preparing sales proposal book as needed.
• Build and update SketchUp libraries.
• Autonomous work assignments (organization or files and catalogs, reviewing editing and merging documents).
  
  

What You'll Need

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with SketchUp and AutoCAD.
• 5 years' interior design experience with the ability to incorporate real-life photos into design renderings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience designing hospitality venues preferred.
• Familiarity with current trends in interior design and finishes.
• Food service interior design experience preferred.
• Experience with indoor 3D laser screening is a plus but not required.
• Ability to take direction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lay out, design, and accessorize interiors.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with a talent for creative problem-solving and multitasking.
