What The Role Looks Like
As a BDR Manager, you will oversee and guide a team of Business Development Representatives, driving team success in generating high-quality leads, nurturing prospects, and contributing to the overall sales pipeline.
A Day In The Life Of This Position Includes
You are a passionate and charismatic leader, with experience managing a team of BDRs in a SaaS environment (ideally in payments). Your experience has armed you with playbooks and processes to positively contribute to the sales pipeline, with an expertise in sales coaching. You are motivated by helping others grow and succeed and are looking to make a significant contribution to a company committed to refining and maturing its BDR function.

What The Role Looks Like
As a BDR Manager, you will oversee and guide a team of Business Development Representatives, driving team success in generating high-quality leads, nurturing prospects, and contributing to the overall sales pipeline.
A Day In The Life Of This Position Includes
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve and exceed lead generation and appointment setting targets.
- Developing and implementing effective outreach strategies to identify and qualify potential clients.
- Monitoring and analyzing team performance metrics, providing regular feedback, and coaching to improve results.
- Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to align BDR activities with overall company objectives and campaigns.
- Conducting regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure BDRs are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date reports/dashboards of team activities, lead interactions, and outcomes in SalesForce and other sales related applications and present insights to the VP of Sales.
- Identifying and addressing any performance issues within the team, implementing corrective actions, and coaching as needed.
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and company offerings to provide relevant insights.
- Supporting the onboarding and training of new BDRs.

What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of progressive business development roles.
- 2+ years in a management/leadership position overseeing BDR/SDRs.
- Proven track record of success in lead generation and achieving sales targets both individually and in a leadership role, in SaaS.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience calling into SMB, MM and Enterprise level companies.
- Experience working within SFDC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential clients and across departments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- An adaptive learner who always strives for challenges.
- Outside of the box thinking, someone who is not afraid to ask questions and look for new/different solutions.
- Experience in a startup environment preferred.
