About PermitFlow

PermitFlow's mission is to streamline and simplify construction permitting in $1.6 trillion United States construction market. Our software reduces time to permit, supporting permitting end-to-end including permit research, application preparation, submission, and monitoring.

We’ve raised $31m led by Initialized Capital, Y Combinator, and the founders and executives from Zillow, PlanGrid, Thumbtack, Opendoor, Bluebeam, Uber, Twitter, HubSpot, Procore, Yelp, Brex, and more.

Our team is remote first and consists of architects, structural engineers, permitting experts, and workflow software specialists, all who have personally experienced the pain of permitting.

This is an in person role in our NYC office (M/W/F required)

Who you are:

  • Experience in full cycle recruiting, with a proven track record of sourcing and hiring top tier technical teams
  • Loves recruiting but also genuinely enjoys the broader aspects of people operations like helping employees grow, building a great culture, and being a resource for our team members on all things people
  • Excited to work on the roll-out and implementation of your work – no task is too big or too small for you

What You’ll Do:

  • Source and recruit top technical talent and recruiters to our team
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and hiring managers to implement and refine our TA strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Regularly collect and analyze feedback to refine both onboarding and development processes
  • Run performance management processes
  • Own all recruiting KPIs and create actionable changes to improve our metrics
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees on various HR-related questions
  • Manage and maintain employee records and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

Qualifications & Fit:

  • 7+ years of technical recruiter experience doing full cycle recruiting at an early stage startup that scaled. Technical recruiting experience is a must*
  • A strong understanding of people operations is preferred, but a strong desire and ability to learn can make up for a lack of experience in this area
  • Experience with Ashby ATS preferred
  • High IQ and EQ: Empathetic and metrics driven approach to assessing and improving our talent strategy and execution

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity packages
  • Lunch provided every day you are in office
  • Home office & equipment stipend
  • Flexible working hours & unlimited PTO
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

Compensation Range: $150K - $175K
