Job Position:  Manufacturer's Representative – Outboard Motors

Location:         Atlantic Canada (Based in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick)

Reports to:      National Sales Manager - Marine

Overview

The Manufacturer's Representative is the main contact between the dealer network and Suzuki Canada for all sales matters in Atlantic Canada for our Marine Products.

• Responsibilities:
•  Prospect within the region to Identify Marine Dealerships who match our goals and vision within Atlantic Canada Manage the dealer activity within a specified territory through daily interaction with Suzuki dealers
• Manage the implementation of SCI sponsored programs within the district to achieve assigned goals
• Present front-line representation of corporate goals, policies and procedures to enhance the dealer body, market penetration and brand image of Suzuki.
• Establish and attain Booking target for all product lines
• Review and allocate available product throughout the region
• Establish co-op funds and utilize allocation effectively to grow Suzuki brand in the region
• Provide or coordinate Suzuki Product training to ensure Suzuki customers are well advised on brand
• Coordinate and attend corporate consumer shows in conjunction with national Marketing initiatives

We are seeking candidates who provide the following expertise and competencies:

• Graduate of a business or marketing program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience within the recreational products industry (outboard motors) preferred
• Knowledge of Suzuki product and competitive product knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Demonstrated expertise in time management and organizational skills
• A valid Ontario driver’s license is a job requirement and is vital to perform job functions
