Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

Location: 100% - Must Reside in Canada

  • MUST BE BILINGUAL – ENGLISH AND FRENCH

The successful candidate will join a team designed to promote prevention and early intervention for mental health issues, including acute mental illness and chronic mental health conditions. In this role, you will support members with a variety of mental health-related issues like: anxiety, depression, stress, grief, couples’ therapy, PTSD, addiction, parent-child issues, etc.

Our program is committed to addressing gaps in access to community-based mental health services, and we provide timely access to confidential support for those who need it, as well as return-to-work planning for members on sick leave or short-/long-term disability.

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing comprehensive and personalized support to members and their families in the event of illness or other health crises, including assessment, planning, and delivering of mental health care.
  • Liaising with other care providers, such as family doctors and community mental health services Planning programs of assistance for clients including referral to community resources and agencies that provide financial assistance, legal aid, housing, medical treatment, and other services.
  • Providing navigation within the client’s community, and facilitating access to local services where appropriate

Candidate Requirements

  • A Masters degree in a mental health program from an accredited college
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience providing mental health counselling
  • Bilingual (FR/EN)
  • You understand and follow the confidentiality and privacy of the client that is consistent with Ontario’s PHIPA legislation or the province in which you are licensed.
