WORK ENVIRONMENT:
We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations. The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year. You may be required at times to visit client sites or attend meetings at designated locations with your team members.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Owner role is part of the Product team within Nymbus. The Product Owner role is responsible for a specific product or product feature within Nymbus and must have knowledge in Front and Backend processing with a Core for either Banks or Credit Unions. Knowledge in Teller Systems, ACH, Back End Processing, CRM, Third Party Interfaces associated with Deposits within a Core System. This individual will be tasked with setting the product vision, effectively communicating that vision both internally and externally as well as managing to that vision through a product roadmap. The Product Owner will work closely with Sales and Client Success teams to understand client needs as well as with Engineering and critical vendors on fulfilling those needs. Successful candidate will be a SME in their field, a technically savvy go-to person, able to communicate well with all levels within the organization, and articulate the business needs, translating those needs into value added solutions for our clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and effectively communicate a vision for the product both internally and externally
- Create and own the product roadmap, providing timely execution on business objectives.
- Serve as the SME, advocate and champion for our Core solution (possess overall understanding of Deposit functionality and user experience).
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to optimize our Core solutions by
- Lead new product development/enhancement initiatives to meet the needs of our clients
- Work closely with Sales and Client Success teams as well as clients themselves to understand the needs for the product
- Collaborate with technical team members to assist in identifying requirements, dependencies, and analyzing/designing product solutions.
- Partner with Operations teams on strategies and requirements to drive operational efficiencies and scalability.
- Advocate for your product to ensure prioritization of the highest value initiatives
- Interact with internal and external customers at all levels to analyze, validate, specify, verify and document business needs/market problems.
- Effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization and the project team.
- Establish and maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive analysis
- Deep knowledge of the Deposits area within the Core product is required
- Experience working with banks or credit unions

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Highly passionate and positive in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment
- Experience with solving problems through technology and ability to make decisions
- Strong communication skills and outstanding active listening abilities
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Lucid, SQL, Postman
- A background in Banking and Financial services is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Readiness to work under pressure and be delivery focused and pragmatic
- Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Comp Sci or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in similar roles
- $140,000 - $150,000 Annual Salary
- Annual Cash Bonus and Equity Options commensurate with the role level and experience
