Identity Governance Lead [BHJOB13022_13465]

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an Identity Governance Lead on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is fully remote within Canada.

Summary Of The Role

The Identity Governance Lead will spearhead the selection and implementation of an Identity & Access Governance platform. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to drive new features, enhancements, and integrations that align with security and identity governance standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement and collaboration to define identity governance requirements.
• Oversee the design and implementation of an Identity & Access Governance platform, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity principles.
• Drive feature delivery, enhancements, and integration processes.
• Develop and manage role-based access control (RBAC) matrices and policy-based access control (PBAC).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including NIST 800-63 and Zero Trust frameworks.
  
  

Core Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in a product owner or similar role in a technology-focused environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in IAM, IGA, or PAM, with knowledge of NIST standards and Zero Trust principles.
• In-depth expertise in IAM/RBAC technologies, cloud-based systems, and cybersecurity practices.
• Proven experience managing Identity and Access technologies (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, ForgeRock, Okta, CyberArk).
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies, including SAML, OAuth, MFA, RBAC, FIDO2, and PBAC.
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous Public Sector experience is an asset.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle and governance solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSPO, CSM, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
  
  

Terms

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work remotely within Canada. A background check will be conducted at the offer stage.
