We are seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team, reporting to the VP of Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing visually stunning graphics that enhance our brand identity and effectively communicate our message to our audience. You will work closely with the brand management and sales teams to create designs for packaging, promotional materials, social media, and more, ensuring that our brands remain consistent and appealing across all platforms
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design Development: Create and design visually appealing graphics for wine labels, brochures, sell sheets, advertisements, and digital platforms, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s identity and values.
- Collaborative Concept Creation: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for campaigns, events, and product launches that resonate with our target audience—both trade and consumer.
- Digital Content Production: Produce high-quality visual content for social media, email marketing, and website updates, including animations, infographics, and promotional videos.
- Brand Consistency Management: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all marketing materials, including print and digital.
- Market Research and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor designs, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and incorporate fresh ideas into projects.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and communicating with team members to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Feedback and Revisions: Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions to achieve final approval.
- Print Production Oversight: Collaborate with printers and suppliers to ensure quality control during the production process, from proofing to printing / final output. Work with OFD graphics to complete jobs on time
- Brand Storytelling: Develop graphics that effectively tell the story of our wines, including their origins, flavor profiles, and unique qualities, enhancing customer engagement and brand loyalty.
- Event and Promotion Design: Design promotional materials for events such as tastings, festivals, and trade shows, ensuring impactful visuals that attract and engage attendees. +
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, product development, and other departments to create cohesive marketing materials that support sales strategies and product launches.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback from peers and stakeholders on design effectiveness, and proactively suggest improvements or innovations to enhance the brand’s visual presence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity, particularly in packaging and branding.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to take constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of print production processes and requirements, as well as label mandatories and treatments.
