Product Designer

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Product Designer with experience in visual design and/or Design Systems , Figma and Prototyping experience and experience collaborating with other designers and engineers to place at our client, a multinational technology corporation.

Client: Multinational technology corporation

Terms: 6-monthcontract. Strong possibility of extensions up to 18 months total contract length.

Location: 100% Remote

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated contract designer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for a hybrid role in creating exceptional visual design and brand experiences, contributing to and maintaining components within their Design System library. If the skillset is there, they may occasionally work on motion design projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong visual skills, excellent task management abilities, and a passion for producing innovative and engaging design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Working with the lead designer to contribute to high-quality visual design concepts and branding across a variety of canvases.
• Collaborate with system designers and feature designers to create, enhance, or maintain components, composites, and other common controls for the team’s Design Systems.
• Ensure all design deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet project goals.
• Assist with motion design projects as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in visual design and/or Design Systems.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe, Protopie.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating strong visual skills and a solid understanding of system thinking.
