The Role
- This role requires strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of our clients' businesses and needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related inquiries and activities.
- Understand the unique needs and objectives of each key account and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, compliance, IT to ensure successful execution of client projects and initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, legislative requirements, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed about changes that may impact key accounts and our business.
- Prepare and present reports to operations, providing insights and recommendations for meeting SLAs and increasing business.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our value proposition and strengthen relationships with key clients.
- Represent the company at meetings, industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services and expand our network of key clients.
- Bachelor's degree
- Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience required
- Proven track-record of successfully managing accounts or sales, with at least 3 years of experience in account management
- Occasional travel within Alberta (once a week on average). Access to a vehicle and valid drivers license required.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management, account planning and general sales techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop effective business operational effectiveness and continuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as required to meet with key clients and attend industry events.
- Drivers license and use of personal transportation required
