Our client is a cloud-based, tech strong and extremely client-focused bookkeeping firm. They are on the lookout for another Superhero to join their existing Star Team of Bookkeeping Experts.
What are the qualities of a Bookkeeping Superhero?
- Proven experience with full-cycle bookkeeping for small and medium-sized business
- Current and complete knowledge of QuickBooks Online features and functionality
- Possessing a post-secondary education in bookkeeping and/or accounting
- Laser-focused on accuracy and effectiveness in their work
- Brings a Hero Attitude (positive, confident, supportive)

You are a motivated bookkeeper eager to apply your knowledge and expand your skillset.
You have solid experience processing day-to-day bookkeeping and completing month end activities in a multi-client environment.
You consistently score an "A" in Accuracy and Attention to Detail.

What We Do
We provide full-cycle bookkeeping services to our clients. This includes:
- Data entry validation/verification, maintain general ledger
- Reconciliations and month end journal entries
- Compliance Returns and filing (HST, GST, Payroll, WSIB, EHT)
- CRA Liaison on behalf of our clients
- Financial Reporting, Analysis, Budgeting and Advice
- Regular communication with our clients regarding their financial position
- Yearend preparation and coordination with Tax Accountants
What You Bring
- Must be eligible to work in Canada; Must reside in Canada
- You are an enthusiastic individual, with a positive attitude and a sense of humour
- Willing and able to follow procedures
- Confident communicator (verbal and written)
- Minimum 3-years' experience in full-cycle paperless bookkeeping including payroll
- Post-secondary education in Bookkeeping or Accounting
- Working knowledge (job experience) with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Previous experience working for a bookkeeping practice or accounting firm (min 1 year)
- Preference given to candidates living in the Eastern Time Zone
- French is an asset. Be sure to mention it!
