Staff Full Stack Engineer

**The opportunity: **We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Full Stack Engineer to take on a leadership role within our engineering team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex mobile applications and backend services. You will work closely with the leadership team, product management, and design teams to ensure that our platform is secure, scalable, and delivers an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full stack development of high-impact features and applications for our crypto platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.
• Champion the adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of technical projects from inception through to production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technology strategy, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our platform through rigorous testing, monitoring, and proactive problem-solving.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices, particularly in the blockchain and cryptocurrency domains.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with demonstrated expertise in both frontend and backend development.
• Deep knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, or Vue.js, and backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in database management, including both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in production environments.
• Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industries is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative and effective solutions.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Familiarity with Web3, Ethereum, and other blockchain ecosystems.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cryptocurrency and financial systems.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and data-intensive applications.
• Working from Eastern or Pacific time zones (EST/PST)

Compensation:

• $100,000 - $150,000USD
• 0.25 - 0.75% equity
