Position Description

HRS Consulting, Inc. is interested in hiring professionals who have experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs and/or Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and have an understanding of the VA's commitment to improving access to care for veterans. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of veterans health programs and be familiar with VA and VHA systems and processes. Current VA Suitability (PIV card) is preferred.

Work location varies by position and location and may be on-site, remote, or hybrid.

  • Research, Data, and Analysis
  • Performance Data Analysis
  • Disability and Medical Assessments
  • Quality Management and Assessment

  • Survey-Based Research and Platform Management (SaaS)

Experience/Education Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities will vary by role and effort supported.

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Eligibility to obtain Veterans Administration (VA) suitability required to start work; current VA credentials may be required for some positions
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum and some positions may require a master's degree or higher; education in a related discipline may be required
  • Experience supporting VA and/or VHA for your specialty area (most positions are Mid, Senior, SME levels)
  • Ability to clearly communicate and exchange information with co-workers, teammates, stakeholders, and other personnel, as required
  • Proficiency working across the Microsoft Office Suite is often required
  • Current industry recognized certifications such as PMP or Prosci are often requested

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • This job operates in a professional office environment with prolonged periods sitting at a desk, attending meetings, and using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and video teleconferencing equipment.
  • This is a largely sedentary role; however, the ability to move office items such as files, laptop/computer equipment, meeting materials, and other work supplies may require carrying and lifting items up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Business travel may be required.
