We are currently seeking a Litigation Attorney to work with clients across the finance, government, real estate and retail industries in Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
  • Perform litigation management and outside counsel management
  • Partner with in-house client teams to provide guidance and support on various corporate policies and corporate litigation matters

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years commercial and/or consumer litigation experience in an in-house corporate environment
  • The ability to work remotely full-time for corporate clients on a contract basis helping to resolve in-house litigation matters
  • Called to the bar in the province in which you reside

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database management of litigation materials
  • Highly effective organizational and prioritization skills to successfully handle heavy workload
  • Sophisticated legal writing skills, legal research experience, and the ability to deliver complex analysis
