Principal Capture Manager

Full timeRSI seeks a Capture Manager as part of our Business Development team. This is an opportunity to help shape and grow RSI through effective opportunity pursuit and planning. This is not a sales role, but more of a strategic business development focused role. Previous experience in consulting delivery and/or capture management is strongly preferred.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Lead capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, and/or task order business
- Be accountable for opportunity pursuit, shaping and winning new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the company’s best interests.
- Develop and execute capture plans and strategies including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; identify potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming partners, and price-to-win (PTW); participate in bid and proposal activities
- Work with Industry Experts to build and shape capture strategies
- Lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit
- Maintain ongoing interaction with business development throughout active captures and in between assignments
- 5-7 years’ experience in capture management and/or consulting delivery in the SLED tax space
- Previous consulting experience within public sector focused on Delivery and/or Capture Management
- Experience managing multiple concurrent capture efforts with collaboration across the organization
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through development of effective relationships and leadership of a highly skilled, diverse workforce
- Ability to think and act strategically and tactically from a broad business perspective.
- Experience working with matrix organizations in the successful capture of new competitive business
- Ability to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and bring matters/issues to successful closure amid changing priorities
- Thorough understanding of financial/business analysis, competitive/strategic analysis, government contracts, and technology/business planning
- Strong business acumen and an understanding for how programs support overall business strategy
- Demonstrated ability for decision making in uncertain environments
- Demonstrated effective team leadership and interpersonal skills
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with implementing and maintaining industry best practices in capture management (Shipley)
- Proven experience running Blackhat and solutioning sessions, as well as Blue Team reviews
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $104,000 - $150,000. However, it is possible to be hired outside of this range.
