Southwire Job Description




This role implements the North American sales strategy for Infrastructure Solutions across the Renewable Technologies Verticals for Western US region. Ensures goals align with the overall sales strategy to maximize penetration and growth Southwire’s Infrastructure solutions. Collaborates across the organization within the Industrial, Utility, Infrastructure and TCAS groups to promote and specify Southwire products associated at all levels of Electrified Infrastructure installations. Works closely with Product Management, Contractor Solutions, Engineering, Operations and Marketing to develop unique labor-saving and bundled solutions targeting CPOs, Property Management companies, EPC’s, Contractors, Utilities, Government Agencies and EV Planning Consortiums. Promotes Southwire’s services and works with the Applications Engineering Team to establish joint development opportunities for site installations. Networks with key Industry stakeholders and decision makers in the electrified mobility field to insert Southwire solutions on job sites at early stages of design.


Key Responsibilities



  • Implements the North American sales strategy for Southwire’s EV Infrastructure vertical market for Western US region

  • Manages and builds customer relationships

  • Manages customer and product segment profitability

  • Develops new business with new and existing channels to market

  • Provides guidance to a team of sales professionals, account managers, business support roles

  • Participates in Marketing Initiatives

  • Professional Development and Continuous Improvement






Education, Experience, and Skills




Required


Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's


Specialized Degree: Business


Years of Experience: 10+


Field of Expertise: 10+ years in an electrical engineer, contractor, or construction management role. Experience with EV site design/installation and optimized cable pull calculations. Established networks and strong personal contacts within the EV market segment. Experience working with end users,


GCs and/or EPCs on electrified mobility installations., Knowledge of NEVI and IIJA contractor requirements highly desirable.
