Presentation Specialist, Creative Design Services


The Presentation Specialist is responsible for the consistent assembly and design of high-quality presentation work that is cohesive and of the highest competitive design caliber. The Presentation Specialist contributes to organizational objectives through timely and quality completion of assignments and is expected to create deliverables that reflect a thorough understanding of Simpson, and Simpson’s clientele regarding branding rules, capabilities, and industry presentation best practices.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Contribute to the implementation for the organization and clientele’s brand, products, and marketing programs



  • Design and produce visually compelling graphics/content that will be used in project initiatives.

  • Support consistent, brand-appropriate design templates and elements throughout all visual content delivered across digital and print platforms.

  • Ensure visual consistency of customer experience and brand voice across various touch points.

  • Conceptualize and create design mockups to client specifications.

  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.

  • Ability to implement art and creative direction and tactical input of team members to bring concepts to completion.

  • Provide creative solutions and fresh design ideas while ensuring brand consistency.

  • Create, edit, and optimize graphical elements and digital files based on design, brand, and delivery requirements.

  • Work to continually improve brand quality and consistency across all categories.

  • Support multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations.

  • Collaborate with project team members to gather input, requirements, and feedback to optimize timeliness and relevance of work products.



Collaborate with project and sales team members to produce a cohesive and high-quality product.



  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute design concepts that deliver



  • on goals and are technically feasible to implement.

  • Assist with activities such as image sourcing, image manipulation,

  • creation of promotional tools, and other activities as needed.

  • Interface with project and sales teams on conceptualizing.

  • Communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely, while also being

  • open to receiving feedback and direction as needed.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Demonstrated experience of highly creative designs for digital.

  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Word), Adobe Creative Suite,



  • Adobe Acrobat Pro and other industry standard digital software.

  • Mastery level user of Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with both Mac and Windows environments.

  • BS in graphic design, computer graphics, marketing or advertising and one to three years of work experience.

  • Demonstrated experience applying best practices in user interface and interactive design.

  • Proven ability to identify key deliverables and implement a creative schedule that meets all stakeholder needs.

  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of all projects.

  • Excellent organization and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Responsible for designing and executing a wide variety of materials including new business and client presentations, pitch books, templates, and miscellaneous marketing materials in PowerPoint.

  • Design client-facing materials with a focus on consistency and quality assurance.

  • Be familiar and experienced with the use and creative application of branding guidelines.

  • Create original graphic content for distribution.

  • Able to Build and troubleshoot template Word documents.

  • Able to retouch photos in Photoshop.

  • Manage an extensive logo library containing several different file formats including .AI, .jpeg, .emf, etc

  • Edit, adapt, and create vector-based visuals – such as tables, logos and other elements in Adobe Illustrator

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $68,900.00 - $114,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
